Herd reports

Herd structure, reproduction, age at first calving, milk quality — with the list of animals behind every figure.

Behind every figure in a report stands the list of animals that produced it. A figure without its list cannot be checked, and an uncheckable figure about your own herd is useless: there is nothing to do with it.

Reports are computed on live data when opened, not assembled by a nightly job: what is shown describes the book as it stands today.

The figure expands into a list: under the average of 25.4 months stand 26.8 and 27.2. The average hides the very animals the report is opened for.

One row is expanded, and under the average age at first calving stand the very animals it is made of — including the ones dragging it. A figure without its list cannot be checked and cannot be acted on: those animals are the reason the report is opened.
